Abstract

Global powers’ military Stationing at the land of Afghanistan is a territorial, regional and emerging powers’ watch minaret game. Previously shortest voyage for the hot water-stunned it was brought accelerated changes into strategic game in order to attain economic and political gains under the monopole strategic enforcement. India, being an emerging regional power has also been seeking its role in Afghanistan to assist one or the other super power to attain multi-purpose benefits. This paper is an attempt to find out that how Indian tried to get an economic chance through global trade activities and to isolate Pakistan by limiting its role in Afghanistan. In addition to this, India tried to contain armed freedom struggle in Kashmir which on most of the occasions, successfully attained its support through Afghanistan. Its constant support for the Northern Alliance against the Taliban forces constantly created a rift not only in Afghanistan but among the other regional Islamic countries including Iran and Saudi Arabia casing a shatterfor the Muslim unity.
