Abstract
Our child is our most invaluable asset. He is the most precious blessing among all presents given to us by Allah Almighty. He is our tomorrow, our hope. We want our society to be pious and positively characterized. We desire a society where there is no corruption, but peace. Being a Muslim, we wish for out child to be successful here and hereafter. A child is nothing but a clear parchment. Whatever you inscribe on it, will become his objective of life. We, as a Muslim, cannot deny that every child is born on the nature of Islam. It is parents who make him Pagan, Jew and Magian. As these kids are our priceless gift, not only is their physical health and conventional education essential, but training and character building is indispensible. Without positive training and character they could become skillful, but remained inhuman, merciless and have no sense of brotherhood. Consequences of such brought-up will be in various forms of untold upheavals. Islamic literature for children plays a vital role in their character building. This literature has profound effect on a child’s soul and lifts their spirituality up to the heights of skies. Such a child becomes prominent. He has courage to face every challenge whether it is to anchor the stars or achieve worldly success. Islamic literature for children is necessary to boost creativity. Its efficiency cannot be denied. In modern day times where it has been hard to find time for attending to the Islamic training programs, another evil has raised head in the form of vulgar electronic media programs and forums. Islamic literature becomes more essential in such times. We will see old-age houses and day-care centers in every town if we do not pay attention to the need of Islamic training of our children. Next we will be hunted by the worst values of liberalism and lose our ethical dignity. In these uneasy times, Islamic literature is inevitable for a child’s moral and ethical brought-up, and for the safety and perpetuation of human society.
