The importance of the Arabic language - at the world level - in general and in Pakistan in particular lies in a large number of aspects such as the religious, historical, social, economic, political, cultural and linguistic aspects and the various matters and aspects that branch out from each of them: it is the largest living language of the Semitic family in terms of the number of speakers. It is one of the most widespread human languages ​​in the world, as this language is used in twenty-two Arab countries, and it is also one of the six official languages. In the United Nations and in numerous international organizations and bodies - and above all that, the Holy Qur’an was revealed in Arabic, and it is the book of God Almighty, which revived it and ensured its survival and dissemination in every place that Islamic civilization reached. The Arabic language has a special status in Pakistan. Some of the reasons are due to the founding of the state and the fact that the Arabic language is the language of the Holy Quran and Islam, and others are related to social, economic and political factors. The region, in which the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is located, is one of the geographical regions that began to deal and interact dynamically with the language of the Holy Qur’an at an early time. Arab Muslims sent study missions to the Sindh region in the era of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him.
