The Qur’an is not merely a book of worship; rather, it is a complete code for the reform of human society and the elimination of oppression. Surah Hud is one of the great chapters of the Holy Qur’an that clearly explains the intellectual, moral, and social foundations of an Islamic society. Through the accounts of the Prophets’ (peace be upon them) call towards Allah, the cautionary fate of oppressive nations, the struggles of reformers, the punishment of those who spread corruption, and the salvation of the believers, this Surah makes it clear that the survival and progress of any society are closely connected with justice, reform, and obedience to Allah. At the same time, it emphasizes that oppression, corruption, rebellion, and opposition to the truth become causes and means of destruction. This article discusses the themes presented in Surah Hud in the light of Tafsir Mazhar al-Qur’an and also explains their relevance in the present age. It examines what this Surah demands from us as Muslims and how we can incorporate its lessons into our lives. As a result, qualities such as justice, enjoining what is good, forbidding what is evil, patience, steadfastness, and constructive reform can develop within society. Through this article, an effort has been made to convey the message that when oppression becomes widespread in a society and those in positions of authority remain silent, that society becomes a victim of collective decline, and the danger of divine punishment arises.
