الملخص

This study explores Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri’s scholarly refutation of Qadiani beliefs as presented in his Hadith commentary, Fayz al-Bari Sharh Sahih al-Bukhari. Central to this refutation is the defense of the doctrine of the finality of Prophet hood (Khatm-e-Nubuwwat), a foundational belief in Islam that the Qadiani movement challenges. Through precise hadith analysis, juristic reasoning, and engagement with Qadiani texts, Kashmiri demonstrates the theological deviation of the movement and underscores the consensus (ijma‘) of the Muslim ummah against any form of continued prophethood. His arguments reveal the clear distinction between divine revelation (wahy) and personal inspiration (ilhaam), and firmly reject any reinterpretation that attempts to blur this line.

The paper also addresses the broader implications of Qadiani doctrines on the unity and identity of the Muslim community. Kashmiri's critique extends beyond mere academic discourse to a passionate defense of Islamic orthodoxy and communal integrity. By exposing the sectarian nature of Qadiani beliefs and their potential to fracture the ummah, Fayz al-Bari emerges not only as a hadith commentary but also as a theological bulwark. This research thus underscores the enduring relevance of Kashmiri’s work in safeguarding Islamic beliefs against modern reinterpretations that conflict with established religious consensus.
