This study presents an analytical examination of social, domestic, financial, and criminal disputes in District Bajaur in the light of Islamic teachings. It explains how local jirgas, reconciliation committees, and community elders resolve conflicts through mutual understanding, compromise, justice, forgiveness, and peaceful settlement. The research highlights the importance of reconciliation (Sulh) in Islam with references from the Qur’an and Sunnah and presents the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a practical model of mediation and conflict resolution. Furthermore, the study analyzes eleven practical cases, including family disputes, property and jewelry conflicts, domestic violence, children’s disputes, and other community issues. The research concludes that Islamic teachings and local reconciliation systems play a significant role in promoting peace, social harmony, and stability in society.
