Abstract
Digital privacy has become a significant issue in the modern world, especially with the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing use of the internet. In Islam, the protection of privacy is highly emphasized, and it is considered unethical to invade someone’s personal life or disclose their confidential information without consent. This article explores the Islamic perspective on privacy, highlighting the ethical and legal considerations in maintaining digital privacy. It discusses the importance of protecting individuals' personal data in the digital age, and suggests measures like encryption, secure access controls, and multi-factor authentication as necessary tools for safeguarding digital privacy. Additionally, it reviews relevant Pakistani laws that protect privacy and discusses their role in preventing digital violations. Overall, the article emphasizes the need for legal, ethical, and technological measures to protect privacy in the digital world.
